"I met Charla about 4 months ago. I was motivated to try something different to see what kind of changes I could make. I was leading in to a vacation so I had a bit of extra motivation but would have been there nonetheless. We discussed my goals and made a few adjustments to my food to start. I showed up twice a week without fail. After a few weeks additional adjustments were made to my food. Nothing major but I actually was struggling to eat enough calories so protein was increased. I had a follow up doctors appointment about 8 weeks in to this new program with Charla. I had lost a few pounds but had dropped 5% body fat! What!!!! I'm 53. I couldn't believe it and neither could my doctor. Super motivating to say the least. Now to talk about Charla herself…. She is one of the nicest humans, she genuinely wants her clients to succeed. "Before training with Charla, I had not set foot into a gym in almost 7 years. After I had my kids I just lost all motivation to be active and once it had been long enough then I was too embarrassed. Embarrassed of my body but also my lack of knowledge when using the equipment. Charla kept me challenged but made sure to keep me going at a pace I could maintain. Now the gym doesn't feel so scary and Charla still helps me without making me feel silly when I'm learning new things.
